Traveling to Cyprus, Best UK sim while I am out there

hello all, I went to Cyprus a few weeks ago, and had an horrendous experience with my Lebara SIM. It ended up not being able to receive or make calls and no data. I could not use goggle maps to explore the beautiful island. using chat apps like whatsapp was non existent, and I could not bock events. Anyway, you get the jist. I am with Lebara at the moment who piggyback on vodaphone. Are there any experiences brits have had which is positive when using a uk sim card in Cyprus?

I am planning to return, and can not go through a similar experience

Why not, did you investigate..?

Republic of Cyprus, or Northern Cyprus..?

Lebara roaming is supposed to be inclusive in the EU have you taken it up with them. Also when I  lived out there phones would jump network providers if you were anywhere near the green line. Cytavoda is their vodaphone equivalent

We were there (Paphos area) in July and both our Lebara phones worked seamlessly.

This time last year, when we were on Three contracts, we had a similar experience that you did recently.

Smarty allow free roaming in the EU (which includes the Greek part of Cyprus) up to 12gb per month. ID Mobile also allow up to 30gb per month. You can also get a Three PAYG SIM and use up to 12gb per month. Have used all three providers with no issues.

Looking at the coverage map for that area, outside of towns and some main roads it's almost non existent. Cytovoda being the best of the bunch according to the maps.

Hello from Paphos, South West Cyprus.

Just packing for home after a fabulous three weeks here.

Lebara has worked seamlessly again at all times ... so much so that I ran out of data after watching something on the beach the other day - had to splash out the extortionate sum of £3 for another 2Gb of data!!!
