What is the latest? Got a final court date? Don't forget that your costs are reserved even if the C now drops the case.

Thank you for staying invested in this one too @Coupon-mad

So we received a letter on 10th July, stating that this is now a defended claim.

It says it appears the case is suitable for allocation to the small claims track.  If you believe that is not the appropriate track then you must complete the box C1 on the Small Claims Direct Questionnaire (Form N180) and explain why.

We have until 28th July to submit this and file it with the county court in Brighton, and serve copies to other parties.

From the template thread we want the small claims track as I understand it, so will just have to now wait for a court date?

    Thank you again.

Yep. If it's discontinued (or at the hearing) ask the court to award your reserved costs.
