I didn't imagine you being one of the tent 'n wellie brigade. Luckily mud free this year!  How did you find Rod?  Sometimes I think they really should slip away gracefully (especially Paul McC) and leave people with memories of them in their prime.

Way back when, I did the Isle of Wight Festival (1970) - fantastic experience with a stunning lineup - but never really got the urge to repeat.

Glad to see you're back ..... and firing!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

We had fun - the atmosphere was great for Rod because there was nothing much clashing with his set. Loved Nile Rogers too, even though I'm really not into disco music. I'm a Springsteen fan. Shame he didn't stage an appearance!

I'd never done a festival before. Love going to gigs though. Would do it again. To be fair, we weren't in a tent and we had hot showers in our bit... so we cheated!

I'm off away again (Europe somewhere) in a week!  Retirement is great.  :D

    Yep.

    PLEASE TELL THE GOVERNMENT THAT!

Now you have won and learnt a lot about the scam, his is your task for August:

Please read this message and do the Government's vital, current Public Consultation:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/81552148/#Comment_81552148

It's vital the Government hears from people with unfair charges who've faced horrific, scary court claims.

The link shows the two vital points to concentrate on, IMHO:

    - banning DRA fee add-ons completely

    - making sure a new SINGLE appeals service replaces POPLA and the IAS which are seen as not fully independent and involved in a 'race to the bottom'.

Click through to the main thread about the Consultation, Do not be deterred by the fact that some questions are for the parking industry only.

We are discussing how to respond. The issues above are the IMPORTANT ones. Personally, mainly because it means the Code will come in quicker (no signs will have to be changed) I have no issue with PCs 'up to £100 cap' AS LONG AS DRA FEES ARE BANNED.

Please join us in doing this Consultation.

This is your one chance to make a difference re the proper regulation of private parking. It is coming.

We need to drown out PPC World with our evidence.
