Worcester Greenstar Heatslave II Combi Oil Boiler Hot Water Timer

We've just moved into a house with a new boiler. It has separate timer controls for heating and hot water and I don't understand why there's a timer for the hot water. I thought the point of a combi is that hot water is heated instantly when required.
Can anyone clarify?
Thanks

I don't think there is any such boiler. Could it be a "Greenstar Heatslave"Reed1

Section 3.2.5 here tells you why there is a timer and the recommended settings:

If you don't want to read the file, it has a hot water storage tank and you can use the timer to turn off reheating the tank. The recommendation is that you do that at night but turn it on again early enough in the morning that the tank is reheated by the time you want hot water.Reed1 -
Thanks, much appreciated
