Flogas, another big standing charge increase

When I joined Flogas on 6/11/2019, the standing charge was 16.44p per day.
On 1/9/2021, the charge went up to 21.91p a day and if you joined Flogas as a new customer today, I believe this is around the standing charge you will be quoted.
On 19/10/22, the charge went up to 32.86p a day
On 17/10/24, the charge will be going up again to 49.29p a day
I called Flogas today and was told that this was a general increase to cover associated increased costs but a 125% increase in 2 years?
Just wondered if others on here with Flogas have similar standing charge rises and what they think about this?

Yes, it does rather look like that, doesn't it.
Not really prepared to take it on board to be honest as have recently paid Flogas nearly £2k to replace tank valve and pipework to house as forced to do because apparently the original pipework was too high pressure. I paid the bill for this a few days ago and their invoice arrived yesterday. Unfortunately I'm stuck in contract with these people until 17th April 2026, so unable to move on.
Anything I can do about this standing charge price increase?PLEASE DO NOT STEAL
