UKPC court hearing

It doesn't matter, its the contract in place at the time with the parking company contracted at the time that mattered on the incident date
The fact that there is a new contract with a different parasite has no bearing on it2 -
UKPC making an offer....

Normal for bulk litigators DCB Legal. They are hearing shy and just want people's money.
Ignore.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I may be asking a silly question; please forgive me. The correspondence from UKPC/DCBL has been sent to my partner's name as the registered keeper. At what point do I become the driver-in the witness statement?
I have my draft witness statement. If I share it here, it will become public. Is there a way to ask for a cast-over, please?0 -
Uh? Only the named defendant can respond to the claim. It is too late transfer liability.
The defendant MUST submit a WS of their own. However, if the defendant is denying being the driver, you could submit a WS to confirm that the defendant was not driving as long as that was pleaded in the defence.2 -
Yes, I just checked, it says in the defence statement that the registered keeper was not the driver. So I can legitimately write a WS?
I quote "However, the vehicle is recognised and it is admitted that the Defendant was the registered keeper but not the driver"1 -
So, has the defendant prepared their WS yet? You, as the driver can prepare yours. You may both want to hold off though. It is highly unlikely that this will ever get as far as a hearing.
By what date did the claimant have to pay the trial fee? You may want to phone the court and check that they have not already discontinued and not bothered to send you a copy of the N279 NoD.2 -
Thank you so much. Only this week they sent a Without Prejudice Offer. WS statements due 28 October and court fees by 10 December 2024. Trial next year January 2025.
I am preparing my WS, and the other half's will be a short one saying they were not the driver. I will have things ready, but check with the court next week.0 -
Also, are there shorter WS, or the 60 page plus are the norm.0

Should be less than 50 pages, especially for emailing0
