    No but it does as spec makes clear have  non volatile FeRAM/FRAM storage.

    Some of which can hold data for 10-20 years  without power.  So no need for battery to hold its memory.

    Which is where it stores the readings in your case.

    And could store a date or time if need be.  But would thrn lose increments.  So run behind every outage.  So in end pretty pointless.  Which is where you would be need short term power back up.
