After the last balancing I've never seen the pressure rise above 2.1 (starting from 1.5), even after raising the temperature by 3 degrees.1

Nice bonus, but I can't say I understand why.pieroabcd said:After the last balancing I've never seen the pressure rise above 2.1 (starting from 1.5), even after raising the temperature by 3 degrees.0 -
Maybe with the previous setup the circuit was too short because the valves were so strangled? Same water, tighter flow should entail more pressure, like when you squeze a pipe... In theory at least.0

Hmm, I can't see it. It's not the 'flow' that affects the pressure (except for a very tiny bit), but the expansion of the water as it heats up. Since all the rads are partially open at one end at least, the system volume is the same, so the amount it expands with heat should be ditto.pieroabcd said:Maybe with the previous setup the circuit was too short because the valves were so strangled? Anyhoo, 2.1bar shouldn't present problems, so all seems good. You could even reduce the cold pressure to, say, 1.2 and see if you can get the max hot down to below 2 - better still.
But, nice job!0
