The impact that FU Money has on peace of mind really can't be overstated can it?
If ever I find work becomes a bit overwhelming and I start to lose sight of the bigger picture, all I need to do is remind myself that being there is totally optional and on my terms only. Never fails to do the trick!
Well done on empowering yourself 💪2 -

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Got my second session tomorrow, will see how that goes. It's mostly guided homework I think because they clearly didn't class whatever anxiety I have as all that serious, but learning those coping skills is probably just what I need.1 -
We've been having a lovely weekend ❤️ I managed to get lots of life admin done, and then we went and watched Paddington in Peru yesterday, which was good fun. Today I went to a Terrarium workshop which I had been gifted for my birthday, and am currently on the bus home with my lovely new terrarium. It turned out really nice, I think 😊
We also want to do a bit of a tidy this afternoon and start getting those Christmas decorations out, I know it's still a bit early but who cares, we're grown ups and get to do that whenever we feel like it 😂
I'll post a finance update shortly as well, ahead of getting paid tomorrow. Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend too 🥰2 -

Just stopping by to say we've just passed the £200k milestone! Gonna have to open a bottle of bubbly on the weekend, I think 🥳5
