Hi everyone,
last year I nearly bought a battery lawnmower from Aldi
https://www.aldi.co.uk/lawnmower-&-20-40v-battery-charger/p/000000490219000 I’d be interested to know if anyone has one and there thoughts. It does come with a 3 year warranty, so that’s good. Of course ow you can’t see the price but I think @£80 + battery and charger, so £140 / £150?
There are a few deals on lawnmowers at the momment, I was looking at a Ryobi one, as Ryobi are a well known manufacturer, but some of the reviews were quite bad, mainly to do with the battery, I did see one in B&Q, it was incredibly light, but seemed quite cheap and plasticky, I know they’re mad out of plastic, but it just felt flimsy

Many thanks, Steve

    Hey Steve

Not sure if anyone has mentioned the mowers but you might check on the Lidl/Aldi board.

    Otherwise try the gardening one.

  • I've got one and a few other Ferrex tools too and have been pleased with them all. As a result it has been worth my while getting spare batteries.

My patch of grass in the garden is minute, but I also chuck it in the car and take it down the allotment to keep that tidy so it gets a bit of heavier work. I'm trying to remember how many years I've had it but so far so good.

I have had both the battery and electric wired versions good for my uneven and sloped lawn   Only thing I found is they are very heavy and as I have arthritis hard to lift in and out of my shed but good quality.
