M&S CASH ISA

Hi MSE
i) Not sure how to contact MSE direct so if you monitor this forum the rate you show for the M&S Cash ISA is out of date.

ii) Has anyone applied for the M&S cash ISA. The company appears to be requesting a lot of personal details on the transfer form, such as employment status, employer, gross annual income, which as far as I am aware are not required under ISA rules, and there is no explanation of need. Becoming wary of completing my application.

None of the current rates look all that brilliant, what is the attraction of this particular ISA?

Those types of questions known as 'Know Your Customer' (KYC) checks and are becoming more and more common when applying for any savings account these days. You'll get them most commonly when applying as a new customer, but you'll sometimes get them even when you're an existing customer..
