Okay, a slight error with my memory, the online statements prior to June 2023 were in fact A4 portrait rather than landscape that I somehow seemed to think they were.
The first new style statement I received was June 2023 and the online and paper versions are identical save for one feature, a QR style code under the account holders name and address. (where the green box is on this example I found on the internet.

(Removed by Forum Team before we realised it was an example)

Unless you've got someone who knows this specific difference then I don't see why printing you're own online statements wouldn't suffice.

    Wow thank you!

That’s the kind of statement I am after lol!

then ones I received earlier in the year was in A5 brown envelope hand written address with smaller than A5 sheets of paper with my transactions on it! They Certainly won’t accept that!

The ones online don’t have barcode so they won’t accept it, has to be official paper copies which I am trying hard to get NatWest to order

this is what turned up today 19/12/24 which they ordered for free! Solicitor won’t accept

Still waiting for my £3 copy statements to arrive hopefully they what I am after

    Update!

Natwest charged me £3 for some A5 Historic statements that’s arrived (Won’t do sadly)

it looking more likely I can’t get A4 copy Statements like other banks do! all agents at NatWest keep telling me yess it can be done but sadly they keep doing it wrong and the wrong stuff turns up!

Might just have to give up 😭 and forget about it lol 😂 hopefully my solicitor won’t need my statements from NatWest

O well at least I tried

have a good New year all

So send the originals to your solicitor then?  Or do you really have some more important use for them than securing a mortgage on your property?

    To answer your question!

I could do that but will use statements from my other banks (solicitor will accept them) as NatWest aren’t playing ball!

I may be missing the bleeding obvious here, but if your solicitor will accept other bank statements, what’s the big deal over  getting the Natwest ones?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

The issue is My solicitor, won’t accept printout from online banking PDF versions sent via email or Transaction lists due to money laundering rules etc will only accept official bank statements sent via post from the bank!

Which NatWest won’t/unwilling to provide official paper copies of my statements for some reason which is highly annoying as they keep telling me it can be done then the wrong stuff turns up!

They will only provide copies of A4 transaction history list or A5 historic statements which I don’t want & solicitor won’t accept them

So I will use statements from my other banks & hopefully won’t need the NatWest ones!

    Thanks for the replies
