Hi Nebbit. Sorry, cannot help you, but want to add my voice to this. It IS an issue. Regardless of the fact that some lucky people "have no problem" I have EXACTLY the same issue. It IS a problem, and a recent one. Messages on FB on my phone, to which I reply, do not show when I check in to my FB messages on the desktop. So annoying. I only discovered this when, having exhnaged messages with eomone on my phone in FB messages, I wanted to follow up a few days later when on my desktop. NO sign at all of their initial message OR my reply! I could the last message exchange with whoever it is, which was about 6 months ago, but no sign of the recent exchange that was made on my phone. It's very annoying, and it IS a significant issue. I THINK it has been a problem since "end to end encryption" reared its head, but I am not very techy. Which is we use these forums of course hoping somebody friendly and MORE techy can give simple help. I.e. not just saying "Really; well....I haven't got a problem!". Somebody out there must surely know what to do to fix this? I add my voice to yours.. Please Help!!

Sounds like a sync problem between your phone and your computer.
If you are using a Windows computer:
Explain the problem you are having to Copilot & ask it for the an answer in simple terms.
It will give you a list of things you can try. .0 -
Lately the problem has resolved itself but in a very awkward manner. Recently when turning on Facebook on the computer I have been asked to copy down a code of a set of numbers and letters from an image, and then when entering FB messenger on the computer I have been asked to set a code number and then every subsequent login I have to enter the same code number. They *really* don't want people to use computers for Facebook!0
