ive decided to try and upload 24 items per day for the remainder of the year. Does Vinted have a daily limit for number of uploads?
I have sooooo much ‘stuff’. This will get a serious shift in the decluttering if things sell, and help with paying off the Very bill too. I really want that gone so I can shift focus to the EF and Santander OD.
i moved from a 5 bed detached to a 3 bed apartment almost 4 years ago, and clearly did not downsize my stuff anywhere near enough. I’ve since added to it (I’m an emotional shopper) and my home looks like an episode of Hoarders. My old house looked quite minimalist, but it was only because I had the space to spread the clutter out.
Quick dash to the shop. We’re out of milk (again) and bread, and the boys have put in a request for wine gums and chocolate. It’ll be a corner shop trip so I can post the parcel and avoid the temptation of the SM. Costs a little more for what I need, but saves on the extras that fall into my basket if I shop anywhere bigger.MFW 2025 #50: £1139.75/£600007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00

I uploaded 14 items and sorted out 27 more to go on tomorrow. Everything uploaded is bagged and boxed, ready to post (optimistic!). Lots has been added to buyer’s favourites, but nothing has sold yet. I have thousands of items to sell. Around 500 books (probably more), soooo many clothes, and a glut of handbags and shoes. There’s a ton of other ‘stuff’ too. I found a duplicated dress in my wardrobe (again). I have over 100 items currently listed, I’ll be happy to keep listing and just one sale per day will chip away at the debt.
Son has deep cleaned his bedroom after I told him it smelled of sweaty boy! He’s changed his bedding, dug out the rubbish, anti- backed the surfaces moved the bed to clean under it He went to vacuum under it, only to discover the charger for my cordless vacuum hasn’t charged. That’s four malfunctioning vacuums laying around the apartment now 🤦♀️ Time I booked a repair for Harry, that’s the only one with insurance.
ive got the cordless charger plugged in, but no lights are coming up. Fingers crossed it’s just the plug needing a new fuse. With two very hairy dogs, I can’t be without a vacuum cleaner for long. I’ll tackle the carpet and soft furnishings with a rubber brush tomorrow and use the rug doctor once the boys have left for their second home. That will clean everything up beautifully, but it will all need vacuuming or tedious brushing again on Monday. I’ll try out the cheap vacuum cleaners I bought when I first moved in (false economy; buy cheap, buy four times!), in the hope that one will suck hard enough to tide me over. I expect I’ll be picking dog hairs off my clothes every time I sit down. It’s a good job the pooches are cute!MBNA 237.47/13997.47

I’ve updated my signature and it doesn’t look great. The - figures show an increase in CC debt. However, I have paid more to Very than I’ve added to CCs (additions are mainly interest), I have started an emergency fund, and I have paid the £600 to my leasehold company, which was in itself a debt.
Counterbalancing additions to CCs with overpayments to Very and a small ‘underspend’ on my Santander OD, and overall I have reduced my unsecured debts by £73.36 or £673.36 if I include the leasehold maintenance fee (which was not saved for).
12 days until payday, a fifth of a tank of petrol, and £89 left in my unspent budget (with £82 of that assigned to an online shop due on the 10th). £2 Mr A voucher to be used for milk top ups before then, and £7 cash in my purse. Can I make it to payday?
I have no choice but to.MBNA 237.47/13997.47

Good luck with the sales.
We need to have a look around and see what we can sell again. Might do that after Christmas now. We still have a load of boat gear to sort out to sell in the garage!1 -
Another sale made and another £13.50 heading for Very when the money comes in.
Nothing listed so far today. I’ve slobbed with the pooches since I woke up.
i did root out two more binbags bursting with clothes to upload before I went to bed last night (at 3am!) but even nocturnal me can’t work efficiently at that hour, so I need to reassess why the clothes were in bags to begin with.
£21.50 pending balance in my Vinted account. New statement date should be tomorrow, so I will see how much interest is added and calculate the perecentage of progress I have made to paying it off.
I’m so grateful to everyone that comments on my thread. The advice and support really is a huge help. Is it weird that one of my motivating forces is a desire to not let readers down? I’m a long term lurker on lots of diaries, and I know I’m cheering the OPs on and feeling their successes and fall downs on their journey. Mirror neurons at play.Must get on. Boys need to get ready to move for the week, and I need to make the apartment my solo solace. Just in time for them to return 😆MBNA 237.47/13997.47
