DCA Black Horse - round in circles

Some time ago I requested information using the Black Horse online form to see if a DCA was added to my agreement back in 2014. Finally received  letter today to say that there was a DCA on my letter and gives a link for me to complain. I’ve followed the link and submitted my information again. It says “what would you like us to do about this?”. So I have answered that I would like compensating if I paid a higher interest rate due to the DCA and paid too much interest. The email they have sent back automatically basically reads that they will again see if there was a DCA on my agreement… but they’ve already wrote to me to say there was. Feel like I’m going round in circles or is this the correct response everyone has had? Thank you ☺️

FCA review is currently due in late 2025. Nothing will happen prior to this.

DCA can be positive, negative or neutral.    So, saying DCA existed is different from saying you paid more.
For example, if they know the contract with a dealer allowed for DCA, they will put you in the pile to look at once the FCA issues its report in 2025 (or 2026/27 subject to court cases).    Once the FCA report  has been issued, they will know how to deal with neutral and positive DCA cases (likely to be no further action) only what the FCA want doing with negative DCA cases.

Until the FCA publish the report, nothing will happen.
