Virgin Media not honouring voucher
Good morning!
Last year in July, I saw on the Martin Lewis website there was an £80 Amazon voucher with a Virgin Media broadband package. This voucher was due to arrive in 120 days from purchase date. I never received this voucher, and have been chasing it up recently, to which I’ve just been passed around by each organisation involved saying it is not their responsibility/ is no longer valid.
I initially reached out to Giftcloud, who passed me on to BroadbandChoices. BroadbandChoices eventually got back to me and said: “Virgin Media has confirmed that they are unable to fulfil the reward at this time due to the time elapsed since your original purchase. We understand that this is not the outcome you were hoping for.
If you wish to escalate this matter further, please contact Virgin Media directly at Virgin Media Complaints.”
So I contacted Virgin Media, who had this to say: “We have reviewed your complaint regarding your missing welcome gift.
Firstly as the virgin media was ordered through a comparison site and the gift offer was offered through the comparison site we do not offer these. You will need to contact the comparison site you applied with in order to get this voucher as it was not offered by virgin.”
I would really appreciate some help and direction on this, thank you in advance!
