UPDATE: I received a settlement offer of £60 from the total cost of £300+ around 2 weeks ago. I have just ignored it. The claimant has until tomorrow (April 14th 4pm) to pay their £27 trial fee to the court. Court date is scheduled for 12th May.
Is there a way to see if claimant has paid this fee.1 -
Discontinuation inbound! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

UPDATE: I still haven’t received confirmation from DBC legal that they have withdrawn their claim, despite having confirmation from the court that they have withdrawn and haven’t paid the court fee by the deadline (April 14th 4pm). The court date I have is listed for the 12th May.1

Could I claim the cost for the cost of booking the day off work to attend the court date? Or is this not worth doing. They have cancelled with the court but have yet to notify me. I will be sending them a request for the discontinuation email after I post this.0
