With mortgage I always ask myself what if it increases would I rather know I'm secure with affordable payments? I was stuck on 2.2% when everyone was getting the ridiculously low mortgage rates and I did curse a little. But now its at 4% I'm glad for the time I had it at 2%. I'm hoping they might come down closer to 3% by time mines up for renewal in June.

Well a busy few days, our freezer packed up over weekend! Have bought a new one from Argos to payback over 12 months so retail debt has gone up a bit. I have had some eBay sales though so £25 that I have paid onto my Vanquis Credit Card. I've had chance to list our old sofa that has been in storage for a while, lots of interest already, because it needs to be collected though i'm wary of timewasters. I prefer sales when they just pay and I can ship.

On surveys today I have earned about £10. I've spent some time going through our debt plan, because it's a long term plan it's hard to predict predict future payrises so haven't included them, The way it's going though I don't think it will take 6 years to be debt free. The plan shows we can bring our debt down by over a £1000 a month and that's before snowballing has come into affect. In 2 weeks time the first of our 19 debts will be gone and we will break th 65k barrier. A little milestone but a nice one for progress.

That's great, it's just nice to see progress. Sometimes the little debts are just as frustrating as one big debt.

Caught up on a few surveys today which has brought about £10 in. Got some more to do tonight and some items to list too.

Had a fun weekend away and thankfully spent less than we budgeted, we have a family holiday at the end of the month and this will up our spending budget for that.  This has knocked my training routine out a bit as just don't have the full motivation with such a hectic month with a bit of over indulgence.  In a way I am also looking forward to the time after holiday when I can get back into my healthy routine and have a few cheaper months aimed at the debt.

Hit the trigger for a £25 withdrawal from a survey site today, takes a month to go into my bank account but will make a little extra payment on the Argos account! Finished another book last night, has no resale value but it's one less item in the house. Started a short one that I was gifted, wouldn't have chosen it myself but it's the shortest book I have that I can get done before holiday.

Challenging few days away from working on this debt, seems to be issues at work, issues at my sports club. Thankfully not involved with any of it directly but still not a great enviroment to be around. Hoping over the next few months both sides of both issues will settle down.

Took £22 out of a survey account today, I've hit a lot of triggers in the last few weeks but it will now be a a couple of months until most of them come round again.

Sold a book today for £13 (minus postage) also got a cashback of £9.

Had to sort breakdown renewal which had shot up, managed to get a great offer and will be saving £17 a month once that starts in December.
