Shower window issue

It is obvious to me that the shower should be where the loo is. It is not a big job to move the loo and have a ledge in the shower to hide the soil pipe from the loo.0

I wonder if a clear sheet of perspex or similar clear acrylic sheet could be set right across the entire window using magnetic secondry glazing tape?Won't be dead cheap, decent tape would be about £40-£50 and then the sheet of acrylic, but if it's strong enough to support a pane of glass, lightweight and safe 2mm acrylic should be fine. You could always trim it with pvcu angle to hide the tape - this would be on the inside behind the sheet so less prone to water causing an issue. The beauty of the magnetic stuff is you can just lift it on and off for access, cleaning or whatever. A fan in the bathroom would be essential if you did this.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

Can you put the shower where the basin is and turn it 90 degrees then put the basin below the window?
Some people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!0 -
I think a waterproof roller blind installed outside the window recess would be better than a curtain, less flappy and you control how long you want it to go down to. I have a waterproof blind and the material is much better than I thought it would be, I thought it would be like a plastic sheet but it feels quite fabric like. I got mine from Blinds 2 Go0

can can you swap the shower and the sink? Have the shower head on the wall with the window and the screen just in from the window? Can’t tell from the drawing if there is room.0

I would not even consider some of the bizarre suggestions. You are having significant building work carried out if you are doing this properly and therefore a proper solution exists, we shouldn't even be considering shower curtains.Who has designed the room thus far? You?You need help from someone that does this. The fact that there is no door on the drawing or dimension doesn't help me or anyone else make any educated suggestion, however. Is the room on the corner of the house or do you have an internal soil stack?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

A good move - I have swapped the toilet basin and shower cubicle !The shower is not electric - it's off the boilerThe thing that worries me is how rigid the shower screen can be - I do tend to fall regularly and it needs to be extremely solid..
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.0 -
