I hate to say but if there's black specks on the seams of the mattress that suggests bed bugs to me.

We had then and tried to treat them on our own for months, in the end paid the council £300 and they came and treated everywhere three times. Was a nightmare as we have lots of books etc and all had to be cleared. It was, however, less bad than having the bugs.

Son had brought them back from a school trip, school waited three days to warn use to open cases outside etc and obviously they were already in by then
