Thank you for you assertion...the evidence is derived from links provided in OP posts.Grumpy_chap said:
No-one has presented any evidence about the ethical behaviour of an ISP.[Deleted User] said:Thank you for replying…what has been presented on the forum is not opinion but evidence regarding the ethical behaviour of an ISP. The issue of tethering will be raised under a new thread relating to user experience in an appropriate section of the forum.
The ethical concern relates to oversight by Ofcom of ISP and transparency a requirement under Implementing the European Electronic Communications Code. For your convenience their website link can be found here.
A third thread on the same subject will help no-one.

As it's clear you'd already decided that they'd done something wrong, and exactly what they had done wrong before you created this I'd suggest you take this to EE rather than continuing to argue with people on an internet forum.[Deleted User] said:

You obviously don't agree with what people have posted on here, and we obviously don't agree with you but as we're not in a position to rectify this deeply unethical situation then continuing this thread seems to be utterly pointless.3 -
I still fails to see where any of the information provided shows the ethical (or otherwise) behaviour of any ISP.[Deleted User] said:

In fact, I wonder whether it is ethical for a consumer to buy a product with a limit on connected devices and then seek to exceed that number of connected devices.0 -
I have linked to it in both of your threads...[Deleted User] said:vidence of the product you allude to.

This post is posted by ethically sourced & sustainable poster 🤣Problem is those services still have the 600 GB "limit" mentioned in the terms (one of those is the service we have as no fibre here) so I agree with the principle of paying for a suitable service but despite the extra cost you are limited in the same way in terms of data, despite it being advertised as "unlimited".In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
The mobile broadband service has a threshold of 1000GB per month rather than 600GB, they also state that they will deprioritise your traffic once you reach this point rather than place a specific speed limit on it.born_again said:

While it has, it is designed to provide the service the OP is using the Sim for, rather than a mobile Sim in a router...born_again said:
