If you share your Disney+ account with friends or family who don't live with you, you'll now need to pay up to £4.99 a month extra to do so, as the streaming service has clamped down on password sharing.

If you're password sharing, there's an easy way to get Disney+ for free.
    2 - select Disney+ as you're free lifestyle benefit.
3 - set up two standing orders, one to pay £2000 into the Lloyds account and one to send £2000 back to your original account each month.

Voila - you have free Disney+

This assumes you have £2k available to cycle round in the first place.  Which isn't always the case.
And its only "free" for 12 months.

The point about having £2k to cycle each month is fair. However, if you set up the standing orders not long after pay day, a lot of people will have £2k in their account for a couple of days before the bills go out.

The second point is not the case. After 12 months, Lloyds will ask you to reselect your free benefit, so you can just choose Disney+ again. Therefore, Disney+ is free so long as Lloyds keep offering it as a benefit.

The Lloyds monthly pay in doesn't necessarily have to be £2k in one lump sum - you can so £1000 x 2, £500 x 4, £100 x 20, £1 x 2000, etc. Very easily automated with standing orders. The lifestyle benefit also renews each year, so after 12 months you can simply renew and keep on going.

I never said it had to be £2k in one go.  The point was whether you could free up £2k in the first place to be able to cycle round, which may not be possible for everybody.

Lloyds have an offer right now. If you switch to Club Lloyds, you can get £200 on top of your free Disney+.

  • Can Disney plus be installed on a phone or tablet to be used outside of the primary household and cast or screen shared to a TV ?
  • Our Disney+ for my family jumped from £80 a year to £380 with the new changes as there are 4 households we shared across. The extra member is only for 1 person and device locked.

However, there is an okay workaround which is that the location crackdown is ONLY for fixed location devices, specifically TV's and consoles. Laptops, tablets and phones are exempt so you can use as normal.
If you have screensharing enabled for your TV you can just use like normal!
