  • Rumplestiltskin and Jellyhead,
Just download the extension IE View and firefox opens an ie type window and this works with these. You could always complain to the webmaster that their site does not comply with web standards, only Microsoft.

Perhaps i should start going there and advise people to upgrade to SP2 if they use XP, that way you get a popup killer and ability to block rogue activex :P

Trouble with linux lovers is they like doing things the hard way :P for all the faults of windows you can't deny that you can get any application for it, it's easy to use and yes it crashes but how many times is that because of a program and not simply windows... can't blame microsoft for bad programmers!!

.oO(waits to be flamed by the linux lovers) ::)
  • I don't use firefox to cure anything but it sure does prevent a lot of the I.e problems. Don't use I.E for anything, 'she who must be obeyed' didn't even notice the change. She who must be obeyed ver 2.0 noticed but was too busy on MSN to care.

  • Was'nt Firefox a TV series ?

That would be Mozilla's worst nightmare, they've already changed their name twice because of trademark/legal issues.

  • I'm sick of hearing about it..

Help help, my internet explorer is playing up
    Download Mozilla Firefox

Help help does anybody know a free pop-up blocker?
    Download Mozilla Firefox

Help Help i've got a virus which has changed my homepage
    Download Mozilla Firefox

Why can't people answer the problems that people are having and then suggest Firefox as an alternative? Everytime somebody has a problem with IE somebody just tells them to download another browser rather than helping them with the problem.

If i had tit's it'd be getting on them

I'm sorry that this "Firefox" madness is annoying you but Firefox is a pretty good browser and I'd probably be the one telling people to download Firefox.

People give me their laptops and say "help me get rid of this spyware", it all comes through Internet Explorer, maybe people should be clearing up their viruses but if they had FF they'd probably not get them in the first place.

Firefox also has some pretty nifty features with its ability to whitelist/blacklist cookies, block popups, etc. So to answer your question:

    Download Mozilla Firefox ;D

I've now got Mozilla Firefox, and I'm not that impressed. I thought it would be so much better than it is, as everyone raves about it! But it's not really that much different.

And is there any way I can get MSN Messenger to open my hotmail emails in firefox rather than IE?

I felt pretty much the same way when I started using it, just looks the same. It takes a while to appeciate why its so good, its hard to explain really.

As for MSN Messenger, not really possible to open Hotmail with Firefox unless you hack your PC a bit unless you use an alternative client like Gaim or Jabber.

It's not the program or people using it that annoys me. Like you said above, 'maybe people should be clearing up their viruses', it's the people who tell them to download Firefox as a instead of helping with the problem they're having...
Give a solution and then reccomend Firefox, but to tell somebody who has a virus that they should download Firefox cos the viruses won't affect it ??? that's the bit that annoys me

I'll believe you, as we have the same avatar.

And I think hacking my computer sounds a bit complicated, so I'll leave it.
