Can a Dyson hair straightener (corrale cordless) from US work in UK?
Bought them from a charity shop and didn't realise they had a 2 pin plug but came with a UK adaptor!
I contacted Dyson and they said you can use it however, it's not recommended using another country made dyson in another country due to voltage difference and said it might not work fully to it's capacity and could cause some issues?
The straightener says 14.4v 55W - charging cable says Input 100-240v 50/60hz, Output 17.3v
Would the voltage difference etc cause issues?

Check the rating plate on the power supply. If it says 100-240V you are okay to use it and it won't cause any problems. It will work to its full capacity. The UK mains voltage can be upto 250V but the power supply will cope with this fine. It doesn't stop working or blow up if the input is 241V. The issue is more likely to be with the adapter, especially if the plug doesn't fit into the adapter very well. Buying a better quality adapter might be a good idea if the one you have isn't very good. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.1

Upon checking it works perfectly and charges
Argos state "Worldwide voltage - ideal for travelling" for the rechargeable straighteners. The input voltage should be on the adaptor.

There you go then, pretty much universal. Looking at the charger it seems to be a cabled input so replacing the plug with a UK one is probably doable.

I agree with @tacpot12
I’ll add that they also don’t seem to understand their own products.2
