my mother has just been in hospital for 5 weeks she is very fragile she is 92 living alone she is registered blind and she has a phone bill for 158 pounds even tho her call charger are only 11 pounds the phone company are trying to get her with broadband but she hardly ever listens to the tv so she has no wish for broadband her quartly charges are rediculas is there any help for just landline when your on pension credit the phone is vital for her

how is that broken down into individual services ?

If you don't have POA for her - be with her when she rings the supplier . You can then adjust her order and get on record for you to talk on her behalfNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

If she’s on pension credit , a phone service unlimited calls can be had from £10 a month , or £15 with basic broadband, £20 with FTTC0
