Flight delay on flight from Switzerland

Looking for some advice . I flew from Geneva to Glasgow via BA T5Heathrow on Monday . Geneva flight was delayed by an hour causing me to miss my connection to Glasgow which should have landed in Glasgow at 1845. They rebooked me on a later flight which was also delayed by a further 2 hrs not landing till 2330( 4h45m after original scheduled arrival). BA have agreed to pay for the taxi to get me from airport as public transport had ceased by then. Does anyone know if I’d be entitled to delayed flight compensation as well as taxi refund? Many thanks

If the reason was beyond the control of the airline, such as ATC or weather, compensation for delay may not be payable.0
