Company not replying to refund request

Hi
I placed an order for some clothes from Twentytwo Supplies on 23rd August for £365.49. I received the order on 13th September. Unfortunately the clothes did not fit so I requested a refund within 14 days as stated on their website but I am not getting a reply from them.
I sent a message on instagram on 16th September and emailed them on 24th September.
what are my rights ? I paid for the order using my Monzo bank

    Do you have a link to the terms and conditions as I cant see them on their website.

    A quick Google suggest they are a scam site with terrible reviews on Trustpilot
  • Assuming they're a legitimate UK business, your rights are to return them for a refund.  The good news is that the clock stopped once you notified them.

    Did you pay with a debit or credit card, or by bank transfer?  If by card, you have options, but a chargeback is likely to be challenged if you still have the goods.   It might instigate some action, though.

    Did you get real contact address etc with the order

    i emailed the company before ordering to ensure a refund was possible. Also when I placed the order the refund policy stated as below

    I paid by bank transfer 
    the email address I used was the one mentioned in the returns page

    No address to return things to though. All the reviews say they sell fakes as well so I would hold out little hope of a refund to be honest.

    Their own description of themselves makes it sound like they're not a UK company:
    "Twentytwo Supplies | Supplying you with the latest Uk inspired drip and clothing. We give you a second chance at buying the latest Uk apparel"

    "Uk" with lowercase k - not something a UK company would do.
    "Uk inspired drip and clothing"  (whatever drip is...)  - not UK clothing, UK "inspired" clothing (whatever that means)

    Very high chance they're an overseas company selling cheap knock-offs.  The type of clothes that end up polluting a beach in Ghana a few months later.   If so - you've got very little chance of getting your refund.


  • I'd say your money is gone.  Looks like an overseas business, they're using a gmail account and you've sent money by bank transfer.  Basically the same as buying something from a stranger on facebook or in the pub.

    No contact details
    No T/C
    No returns details & the rest that should be there.

    You can try contacting Monzo for a chargeback. As you are unable to return the goods.

    Does that work on bank transfers?  I assumed it was on card payments only.

    Interesting that if you go to purchase a item. Refund details etc come up.
