There was another advert where Mark Benton as the unreasonable member of bank staff was flaunting that banks charged fees for payments in currencies other than pounds sterling saying it was necessary to subsidise champagne for the shareholders at the AGM, and stating that Nationwide did not charge such fees. Now they do charge a foreign currency fee on debit cards other than FlexPlus (for which there is a fee).
