Cancelled Vodafone order - hard search on credit report?

Hi,
I ordered broadband from Vodafone yesterday and instantly regretted when I realised there was a better deal to be had. I cancelled my Vodafone order within the hour. However this evening I've received an email from Clear Score stating a hard search is about to happen, by Vodafone.
I'm wondering if this should be going ahead on a cancelled order? If not, and it's just a timing/lack of communication issue, will it be 'undone'?
I have the transcript of my live chat confirming all cancelled, and the login to my new account they provided no longer works, so I'm assuming the cancellation has gone ahead.
I've gone with another provider who I presume will also be conducting a hard search. My score is excellent so should get away with 2 around the same time, but still...thinking of future me potentially having to have another hard search (unlikely, but things happen) and the impact of this.
Asking here as I can't get through on the phone, and Tobi the live chat doesn't know what I'm talking about
Thanks:)

Hard searches don't really matter unless you have terrible credit. I wouldn't waste your time on this as they can't remove it and it's probably already happened.0

As House says, it is unlikely to be something any lender cares about as it is broadband, if it was a loan or credit card in quick succession sometimes that bothers them, but if only one or two then little impact.0 -
Awesome, thanks both 👍0
