I got selected as well but there are no vacancies left anywhere as far as i can see.

I signed for the Matalan one on Thursday and an email was sent saying there was a new survey to be done this w/end but I could only put myself down as reserve for the three nearest stores.
Two are now off the list so presumably those surveys have been done. The email did say it had to be done this w/end. I have no idea how often the call goes out but it seems that its across the whole country over one w/end and although the store doesn't know who you are they do know to expect someone.0 -
I've been with these for a long while, jobs seem to go on about once a quarter. And they pay in cash, and post it normal mail!!!Always on the hunt for a bargain0

My wife joined last week before I saw this post. However, when she joined and got accepted, we have been unable to see any stores allocated in our area, not sure what to do. Does she get contacted by the company when to go to the store? Our local store is a mile away, we wouldn't want to go to another town to check it out as that would be to far away for us.

You have to go into the specified shop on a certain date and purchase an item. Then you complete an online questionnaire re: customer service, appearance of the shop etc. etc. You get your money paid very quickly.

I did not recieve an e-mail from them. Not even a confirmation of showing interest.So I e-mailed them and asked. I got a reply saying the the shops were now showing what was available. But I still had no password or way of accessing the site,so I telephoned and was given a password and I am now on as a reserve for my local store.
I typed in the research company name in my search field and it came up with an application form for Arcadia stores too!:j0
