and I'm still waiting (Virgin)

So I hardly ever have to talk to Virgin but my broadband contract is about to run out. I contacted them, they put me in a WhatsApp chat at 13:49. At 14:06 (17 min later) they told me I had a waiting time of 90 min. At 14:38 I was told my waiting time was now 100min. At 15:10 they told me my waiting time was now 102min. That was 81min after I first contacted them. I was going to haggle but is it worth sticking with a company that treats you like this?

meanwhile I'm thinking about building an ark.0

Time is much too valuable to be waiting for Virgin. Sky look so much better from the Ofcom complaints figures

If I had viable options then I wouldn't be waiting anything like as long as you and I would be leaving them. You must have great patience, which will help with the boat building as well.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0

They finally responded at 15:39. I'm still talking to them, just going through the disconnection process. They wouldn't budge on price so........0

So after sorting everything out yesterday, all the disconnection rigmarole, emails and messages received about having to return the router and how I'd have to wait 45 days to get any money back paid in advance, today Virgin ring me up and offer to keep me at the same price I've been paying for the last two years for the next 18 months.
