The good news is that, even if you have to replace some old freezers and/or fridges, reduced electricity bills may result in significant overall savings.Do come back in due course to tell us how it went !1

electricity - 23.13p per kwh
gas - 5.41p per kwh
standing charges
electricity - 54.83p per day
gas 28.88p per day
if i fix for 15 months with no exit charge:

gas - 5.65p per kwh

Can anyone advise please - i'm useless with things like this. Or is there another company i should swap to?
Really appreciate your advice

I switched from Octopus Flexible to BGas 12m fixed v15 last week. There's a 14 day cooling off if I change my mind and no exit fees if I move to a cheaper BGas tariff so I've just switched to v16 to save another few quid. I'm a low user and BGas switch was £60 pa cheaper than what Octopus Flexible rate is now nevermind what it'll be in October. I switched via USwitch at Top Cashback so should get £36 for using that too so altogether a no-brainer for me.

I couldn't find any TC offer for BGas when i searched TC but when you follow that link it goes down to £34 anyway so less than USwitchbristolleedsfan said:

For benefit of subject higher rates shown when not logged into Topcashback which suggests for those who pay £5 annual fee ( Plus members)kuepper said:
