Soolin, the options on the report button do not appear to offer that route now.
It’s under the feedback tool, not the report tool. I had a neg removed within the last 6 weeks, I reported it as above, got a response saying neg would be removed within 24 hours and it was gone within 3 minutes. This was on a private account of long standing, not on my business.

I’ve had poor feedback like that removed easily by eBay. I use the report button for feedback removal, stress this is against eBay t and cs on the basis that no attempt was made by buyer to contact me before just leaving a neg. The thing to stress is it being against eBay t and cs, and the fact that no contact was made trying to rectify the issue.
I have never been able to get feedback like that removed, I am always told that the buyer is entitled to their opinion regardless of them not contacting me prior to leaving feedback.

I’m not saying I get a lot but I have always had it removed. I had someone last year buy a print from me, left me a neutral as it was a print and not original, it was removed within seconds of me using the feedback tool to report. On that occasion as well as the strategy mentioned above I also added that the item specifics showed it as a print, as well as the description and title.

  • I got a negative removed recently.
First see what feedback they leave others - sometimes it’s an accident as it’s just copied feedback they left for someone else or you could see if they just love leaving negatives
You then request the person to revise, then straight after sent a request to eBay to remove it. That request gets sent to the man that sits there clicking the “no” button all day long 😄. Then you ring. I try and ring early in the morning as I find I often get an English person then. Explain situation and especially mention if they do negs all the time, are they competition trying to ruin feedback , explain all measurements given etc. hopefully they will remove it. If not say can I speak to your supervisor or manager ( I know it’s cringy) but that often really works as they can do more  . Always be polite and hope it works 😊. Ring again the next day if you still aren’t happy , like it’s the first time you’ve rung. You just need a nice Irish , American or English advisor and they often are super helpful, again maybe because they can do more?
If you don’t like a thread or post just move on by.
