Negative Feedback That Feels Unjust.

As the title really.
I sold the parcel shelf from my car to a car repair man. The description had the exact model and make of the car it was from and the measurements of the shelf. I added to the description to make sure it fits other models before buying.
He has just left negative feedback saying 'wrongly described '. He has made no contact or explained what was wrongly described but literally all I did was describe the make and model it was from and the measurements. There was nothing that could be wrongly described in that.
I've since seen he has done similar to other sellers saying things like 'all good thanks' then gave a negative. What the heck?? It just feels malicious.
So I've lost my 100% positive and I don't even know why and all eBay say is they can not do anything and just read the script about how buyers are allowed to post their experiences. It just feels so unjust that buyers can do things like this but sellers have no voice. I can't even give him honest feedback, I can only give him positive feedback.
What are we supposed to do in situations like this when we haven't even done anything wrong but lose ratings and have to just take the hit because eBay won't do anything? As I said, there's nothing that can be wrongly described in this because all I could put was the car make & model and add the note to buyers to make sure it fits other models before buying. I even said what models it was NOT suitable for.
What else was I supposed to do? It just doesn't make sense.

Just put a reply to his feedback explaining more briefly what you’ve said here.
I know when I read negative feedback I also looked to see if there’s any sort of response,All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
I would just post a response stating the facts and leave it at that... tbh there's little else you can do anyway. The feedback system is more or less worthless anyway these days.2

Thank you. I mean, it's not like I usually sell things like this anyway as I have a niche which I don't think will be effected by it, but it's just so irritating when buyers do things like this and destroy an otherwise perfect seller rating for nothing. I generally sell crystals and minerals and people say they specifically come to me because I have 100% positive feedback. Well, at least I did have until today when it's now 99.4% and I didn't even do anything 😱0

I have 3 eBay accounts. One for business selling only, one for personal selling only and the third one is used only for purchases.1 -
As a buyer, if I see a very small number of negatives I go and read them before buying and it’s not unusual to see that it’s a daft/unkind buyer from the sellers comments. So I second the advice of adding some factual comments to the feedback. I wouldn’t be put off from buying from you over this.5

I’ve had poor feedback like that removed easily by eBay. I use the report button for feedback removal, stress this is against eBay t and cs on the basis that no attempt was made by buyer to contact me before just leaving a neg. The thing to stress is it being against eBay t and cs, and the fact that no contact was made trying to rectify the issue.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Soolin, the options on the report button do not appear to offer that route now.1

I did say they made no attempt to contact me but eBay said the feedback wasn't against any of the t&c so they wouldn't remove it but I am going to try insisting in the hope I get a different person.0
