Have just downloaded TBird Portable, and will see whether there is any difference between the two versions when transferring emails to folders.
Thanks for the information.0 -
I use pop3 and have been using Mozbackup for 10-15 years
https://sourceforge.net/projects/mozbackup/It's not supported any more, but still works fine for me.

Thanks for the input.
I'm currently trying out TBird portable to see whether there is also a time lag when transferring emails to folders, but both versions seem similar at present. Will see how it goes.0 -

Have used for many years, but these past few months it seems incredibly slow when moving emails into various folders. I only have 3 folders, with not many emails in them, and compact them every week or so.
Does anyone else use this software, and also find it slow, or is there something I could do to speed it up a little?
Using Windows 11, laptop.
Thank you
I'm unsure if it's the software at my end or the server I'm connecting to via IMAP so I'm going to have to dig a little deeper to try and find a resolution.1
