"I've always wondered why people pay many thousands for a BMW when they could get a decent car for far less. "They could get a different car for a lot less or a different one for a lot more.It may come as a surprise but different people like different things.I have an iPhone (bought second hand) because I am not a fan of Google.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0

Have a look at the O2 deals on USwitch, they can be had as "upgrades" (and can also give some cashback).oldernonethewiser said:Currently paying less than £9 per month for 40GB on O2 and the deal finishes in a couple of months. Their best "upgrade" option for me is 30GB for £23.99 per month.I think I'll decline.

If nothing special appeals I might just leave it as a rolling contract. There are O2 deals that are slightly better than I currently have but I suppose it isn't in their interest to have me spending less

I suspect everyone has something where they want to have the best, as it’s what interests them and is their luxury. It may be a phone, it may be a tablet, a laptop, or it may be clothing or a car. MSE exists to help people do this in the cheapest way possible, and to help them get what they are entitled to if things go wrong.0
