Is it worth a sim and phone package?

They could get a different car for a lot less or a different one for a lot more.

It may come as a surprise but different people like different things.

I have an iPhone (bought second hand) because I am not a fan of Google.

Have a look at the O2 deals on USwitch, they can be had as "upgrades" (and can also give some cashback).

If nothing special appeals I might just leave it as a rolling contract.  There are O2 deals that are slightly better than I currently have but I suppose it isn't in their interest to have me spending less

I suspect everyone has something where they want to have the best, as it’s what interests them and is their luxury. It may be a phone, it may be a tablet, a laptop, or it may be clothing or a car.
