Another day more snow only a small amount.Checked in for my February holiday, looking forward to being a bit warmer for a few days. Going to hairdressers later this morning , was meeting my friend but she doesn't drive in wintry conditions. I will call at my local B@M as looking for some new storage for my bedroom. Though in Foxgloves style I may shop from home not mine but my sons as he is moving and has some storage he is getting rid off .All banking checked , looks as though I may have a tiny surplus in the shopping budget which is welcome.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1

Where are you off to next month, Canaries? We used to go to the Canaries the first two weeks of January. It's lovely to get some winter sun but we found it really difficult to come back to winter so changed to the end of AprilI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Last week I was suffering with toothache which made functioning normally quite hard. Anyway the dentist gave me antibiotics and I feel fairly normal now ! .
Good news this week , my gas smart meter was replaced finally. This one is working well so far which is good. Octopus have also compensated me financially. I will say I am glad I decided not to accept their first answer and pursued the issue further.
As I have never had two smart meters working , do people put in reading once a month or not bother? .Payday last Friday , underspends in groceries and personal spending. Have set up another monthly savings as the Principality one has finished .I am on a no spend January , no clothes, books or other frivolities . It's going well so far .
i have a holiday coming up in a few weeks, paid for car parking at the airport , spends I already have.Paid a deposit for my craft break in October and for a couple of hotels in April when I travel south for a friend's big birthday. We have a new computer system at work tomorrow, I hope all the training comes to me .Off to make food for work tomorrow.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0 -
We’ve been to Costa del Sol in February and it was warm in the sun but very cool at night. It will be lovely to get away from the cold miserable weather here.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
