Fixed for a year. But 32p kw electric, and 7p gas.
My question is would i be better on this, or stop on tracker with octopus?
I am all electric and use 6kw a day according to my latest bill

In a word No I am sure you can calculate it.
Anyone under 5kwh a day average it might work for them.(might)

All electric but you give a gas price, plus the title is somewhat odd. 6kWh a day seems very low for all electric too!0

The gas price was there so i thought id include it.
I am one of those people, who does not feel the cold at all, even in winter. Im a very low user of energy.
Now the summer is a different story.
I thought the standing charge is really cheap, compared to what i paying now. 53p0 -
Worth also mentioning Ebico Living now "supplied by our licensed supply partner Rebel Energy" ( previously was Octopus)
British Gas have launched a new 12 month fix version E SC - 14p ish per day cheaper than Octopus 15 month fix, + unit rate cheaper + Amazon gift card if know someone with them.0 -

... I am all electric and use 6kw a day according to my latest bill- Do these prices include VAT?
- Your latest bill - was that for August, or perhaps for June, July and August? Either way, it's a pretty poor benchmark for calculating the cost of a 12-month tariff from*. Check what your meter read a year ago and what it reads now to see your annual consumption, then use that for your sums. Or tot up the consumption figures from your bills for the last twelve months if you don't see meter readings on them.
* I too am an all electric household, with no electric heating except for the shower. My average usage in August was 2.35 kWh/day, while for the past twelve months it has been 2.79 kWh/day. That's a 19% difference, or about £80 a year at the Ebico prices you gave.I'm not being lazy ...
I'm just in energy-saving mode.0 -
There's a nasty sting in the tail with the BG 15M fix — a £50 exit fee (presumably per fuel) if you switch to the SVT or to a competitor. Beware !1

Very happy Ex Ebico customer, currently very happy Octopus customer.Very very low user, (Less than 1kWh/day Elec and less than 1kWh/day Gas,)Octopus annual quote from October = £413 pa (My calc on expected usage £397)Ebico Signature annual quote from October = £280 pa (My calc on expected usage £280)My daily spreadsheet, (consolidated monthly) says both these quotes are pretty accurate.100% trust in both Octopus and Ebico.Researching Rebel Energy a bit more.Decision pending.

I just switched to that British Gas fixed tariff. The new unit rates would be the same as my older supplier from the 1st Oct, but the Electricity standing charge is 34p instead of 51p and gas 23p instead of 31p. Im a very very low energy user and the standing charge made up about 75% of my Bill ! Also got a referal so should get the Amazon gift card.2 -
I would save £6 a month for nine months then the gas would claw some of that back, unit rates seem rather high - that is comparing with Octopus Agile but Agile does constrain when I use electric so I might end up using a bit more which would soon cancel out the s/c charge saving. Pity that Octopus, despite admitting that s/c's are too high, have joined in with the other big players in keeping them far too high - my one gripe against the company but enough to make me shift?
Ebico was an excellent company back in the day when they had their singular zero s/c tariff but I am not sure they are even the same company now, their customers ended up in the Evil Empire, aka Scottish Power when Ofgem ruined their business model by making them offer multiple tariffs (as per today). Still, nice to see some different tariffs, finally, on offer.0
