Transfer in ISA to CHIP

Went through the rigmarole of setting up an account to transfer in an ISA. Only to find that they don't accept partial transfers, and I have over £85,000 limit. I didn't see that anywhere on the front page of MSE when it details accounts. Perhaps I missed it.

It's never a good idea to rely on MSE's paraphrasing of provider terms, so you should always get these from the horse's mouth:

Can you accept partial cash ISA transfers?

However, there shouldn't be anything stopping you from transferring it all and then making a partial transfer to someone else?

I believe Chip only allow full transfers out (and then prevent you opening another account) so that won't be possible either. 

Maybe transfer part to another bank that does allow partial transfers and then the remainder to Chip.
