Anyone got any FVF offers this weekend 20/9/24 >

Just did a quick update on my private accounts, neither have any FVF offers showing for this weekend either.

None on mine either but this week wouldn't have been part of the usual cycle so I wasn't really expecting them to run anything.

I agree, but there had been some speculation they would merely jump a week due to the new iphone being released last week which often floods eBay with private sellers who all managed to buy ‘one too many’. We will all have to wait and see what happens next weekend now., interestingly that will be after the reduction to 300 l new listings which does appear to be causing some concern from certain private sellers.

i do think one way or another we'll know for sure either on the 1st October, or the 4th when the next FVF offer would normally be running. hold tight peeps.

Nothing for me either. 
I have a feeling this has something to do with pushing private sellers into business seller status, as per their emails. Private sellers know they get FVF offers, so would naturally be hesitant to move to business seller status even though they are in fact a small business. Remove the FVF offers for a while - let them see the benefits are on the business seller side now, and move them across. Once across, they can't come back. After a fixed period resume the FVF offers for the remaining private sellers.....
It's a possibility??....

Not had the promotion for a few weeks now.Hope it isn't permanent because that's me done selling if it is

It's a possibility??....

I can see the argument but the only thing is those private sellers targeted didn’t have an option, it was business account or nothing. 

It might just be a way of making sure the transition wasn’t as painful as they’d feared. I can see the argument that forcing the upgrade and charging listing fees and then making it worse by continuing having FVF offers for the remaining private sellers was probably just going to cause more issues.

Perhaps if they withdrew some of the features for private sellers (MVLs, listings with multi quantity, pay per click on site and Google advertising, shops) there might be some movement.

I have to agree, it is difficult to pin down any proper benefits apart from the obvious that the seller would be properly registered, 

No free listings, no FVF offers, returns required for any reason- eBay have always implied that business sellers do get preferential treatment in listing placement, but I’m not entirely convinced that is true in all cases, or all categories. Certainly in one of my business categories I use  if I do a basic search, the best match returns 3 promoted business sellers first, then some private ones then a mix of business of private and business with seemingly no pattern.
