My credit card debt has been passed from MBNA to a debt management company. Who do I send a SAR form, MBNA or the debt management company. Also can anyone explain the process once you have sent a letter and the possible outcome please. Many thanks

Why would you be sending a SAR?Life in the slow lane0

Because they have passed my details on without my permission.0

It's highly likely that they'd have the right to do this enshrined within the account Ts & Cs, but it's still unclear how a SAR would address your issue anyway? Have you been compliant with your contractual repayments or is the account in arrears?munchkin_1603 said:Because they have passed my details on without my permission.0 -
it is in arrears0

I suspect that your permission was given when you initially accepted the terms and conditions of the credit agreement...

I was reviewing the details about SAR letter and dealing with credit card debt.
Check Mate The Matrix on TikTok, concerning credit card debts being passed onto a collection agency, sending them a SAR letter to clear or reduce the debt?

All a SAR does is to get them to send you copies of relevant personal data, it doesn't actually initiate anything else.munchkin_1603 said:I was reviewing the details about SAR letter and dealing with credit card debt.

You will get help on there. Forget a SAR it is the wrong way to go about it.
I hope you have not been reading somewhere online that sending a SAR will end up will your debt being written off, it doesn't happen. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.1 -
Can any one suggest the best way forward to reduce the debt owing, what is the best way to approach them. I understand that I owe them but would like to see if there is any opportunity to negotiate a overall reduction that is manageable to repay.0 -
