Indeed it can and probably will be cross checked with the credit agencies and details you entered on other applications etc.

I've just done it,  no big deal, took less than 2 mins .

No, not as such.
It’s just I don’t fit into any of their categories.
I exist & don’t at the same time.
I’m a carer, so low income. But interest gives me a fine income.
Am I employed, self employed or what. income from savings, due to house sale.
I’m registered to vote but don’t pay council tax, or utility bills.
I keep 5 bank accounts just in case.
I give banks and credit card companies the same answers.
Its not been an issue for the last 11 years.
