Just started to apply for a Chip cash ISA, I’ve given them all my debit card details and now they are asking to allow 90 access to my account, why do they want access to my account? I’m nervous about giving this. Should I be?

You have to have a linked account by Open Banking.
It's perfectly safe and quite normal in these modern times.
Nothing to worry about.1
