Hi everybody, apologies in advance if similar questions have been asked, I've spent the past 2 days trying to get my head around this issue.

So we're visiting Florida and we're hiring a car from SIXT.

When making the booking, I opted against the 'Peace Of Mind' extra protection (VERY pricey).
When I view my booking online, on the main page it notes the following (also see attached screen grab 1):

"No extra protection included:
X - LDW - Loss Damage Waiver for collision damages, scratches, bumps and theft.
X - Extended Roadside Protection
X - Personal Accident Coverage
X - Personal Property Coverage
X - Supplemental Liability Insurance Select"

HOWEVER!

When I print my booking confirmation sheet, which details the ins and outs, it states that the following IS included (also see attached screen grab 2):

"Included:
Loss Damage Waiver (inc. theft protection)
LDW - Loss Damage Waiver for collision damages, scratches, bumps and theft.
Supplemental Liability Insurance Select
Loss Damage Waiver with an excess of 0.00USD
Theft Protection with an excess of 0.00USD
All designated discounts have been included in the stated final price."

Question is, do I need to pay for anything extra, if my booking confirmation says these items are included?
My travel insurance covers personal injury up to £10mill, and up to £2mill if I'm involved in an accident and injury somebody else/damage somebody's property.

Thanks in advance, hope this was clear enough.

It looks like the confirmation certainly shows it as selected.  Generally all the extended insurance really covers is to protect against the huge damage excess that they will charge if you don't select it. (Usually £1000-£1500).

We always decline their rip-off extra cover which can often be £100+, and instead purchase separate excess insurance from a third party (£20-£25). It may be worth doing that too just for peace of mind?

How you will know for certain (unless you ask them first), is when you collect the car they will ask for pre-authorisation on your credit card of the £1000-£1500 excess. The will not do this if they believe you are covered by their extra insurance.

Just on this point, you'll find it almost certainly does not cover motoring, unless there's a specific add on for car hire. Travel insurance invariably has an exclusion for liability while using "mechanically propelled vehicles"
