iPhone upgrade
I'm acquiring a new Apple iPhone (15) to replace my existing older iPhone.
I will want to transfer the SIM and all the contents of the older phone to the new one, so that the transfer is seamless.
How straightforward is that? Some guidance would be useful TIA

Make sure old one is connected to wifi
Follow on screen instructions

Just as a matter of interest, when you follow the instructions does it copy across all the applications and the log ins? It is always annoying on Android where you can copy everything across but then have to spend hours signing into banking apps etc.MikeJXE said:Plug them both in.

It does copy everything a cross. (An app can choose to opt out of this for security reasons but both my banking apps copied across with no need to setup again)Peter999_2 said:

In fact, depending on your provider. The phone may even offer to transfer the SIM to a new eSIM in which case you wouldn’t even need to transfer the SIM.MikeJXE said:
