Reclaiming money from three
Options
I recently noticed a direct debit to "H3G" being paid from my account. I realised it was to 3 mobile who I used to have an account with. I've no idea why I didn't notice it before. I think I thought it was for something else. Three have admitted that my account was cancelled in June 2019. The payments coming from my account are variable from about £20 to £35 per month. I had no correspondence from three until I cancelled the direct debit. The RBS are going to repay me the payments for the past year under the direct debit guarantee. Three are asking for proof to get the rest of the money back and I have sent them screenshots from online banking. Has anyone else had experience of trying to get money back like this?

I have, in the past, asked for help from a consumer champion in my national newspaper. Most companies pay up quickly to avoid being shamed as well as named.
