New boiler still not in yet, but interestingly my bill was £6 cheaper than the last bill when boiler was working, this is with multiple use of immersion, and extra use of dehumidifier as my internal humidity is getting crazy.Since gas was sealed I am currently saving money on the pilot light usage.More than half of the immersion usage has been during negative or sub 5p pricing on Agile.1

On water the saving seems bigger, about 40% consumption according to smart meter. Also no idle pilot light on this thing.0

That will save you somewhere between 1500kW and 2000kW per year.I'd taken to turning the gas off except when I needed heating with my old Baxi back boiler. Combined with a few other changes (smarter controls, better insulation, etc), went from 8000kW per year down to around 3000kW.

Better on central heating as well, before the radiators would need an hour before they started feeling warm, now they are fairly hot within 5-10 minutes.

Better on central heating as well, before the radiators would need an hour before they started feeling warm, now they are fairly hot within 5-10 minutes.Play around with the flow temperatures - If you can wind it down to 60°C, you'll get better efficiency out of the boiler. 50°C would be even better, especially if the radiators have been properly balanced and the pump speed turned down. But reducing the flow temperature is a compromise if you don't have big radiators and want a decent temperature indoors when it is freezing outside. I'm currently running at around 50°C with an outside temperature of 8-10°C - With the radiators I've got, that is enough to raise the internal temperature by 1°C per hour.

I think it will end up just above 60C, I have set it to the efficiency logo which is 67C, but I think I can get away with dropping it a few degrees.
