  • Just logged back in.  I have received a copy of Directions Questionnaire from DCB Legal by email and a physical form to fill in from the CNBC.  I have filled in the form electronically which I downloaded from https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/form-n180-directions-questionnaire-small-claims-track and sent via email to dq.cnbc@justice.gov.uk (received confirmation within minutes) and cced to myslef and DCB Legal.

Just a some thoughts on the sticky threads:

Might be worth updating the threads so all the information appears in the same area.  It took me a while to find out that the form had changed format slightly and the actual email address to send it to was dq.cnbc@justice.gov.uk.

I can see that quite a few people are asking these questions and I think it's because a) its faster to ask than to search b) its not 100% clear in the template and newbies thread as there is quite a lot to read through.  The easier we can make it for others to complete this process, the more people will!

    Thanks for the continued assistance.
  • @RogerW_3 I agree completely. Although I could download the app, it was very slow and didn't work when downloaded.

Some poor lady has been hit with multiple pns for the exact same thing as me  https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/excel-parking-derby-fines-rosey-hudson-b2656437.html

Is there someone on the forum who could point out to the journalist she is not alone. I will, but feel it would hold more weight if a senior forum member were to make the approach as they will have far more knowledge about this than me.

The more publicity this gets the faster these cowboys will be stopped.

Already covered in the 'PPCs in the
News/Media' thread and we've been reassured by @kryten3000 that she's being ably assisted by our contacts on the good Facebook group.

OK, so had the mediation call, early January.  I received a letter today stating the Court has received the file.  The file has been referred to the District Judge for directions.  With no target time to process.  Saying I will be notified of the outcome once the file is back with them.

    What's the next stage?

You will receive a Notice of Allocation (hopefully) for the court you nominated in your DQ (N180)

We acknowledge receipt of your appeal regarding the Charge Notice. While we understand that payment was indeed made for parking, it is important to note that this was done outside of the specified consideration period. As clearly outlined in the signage at the car park, vehicles must have a valid payment within the designated time frame. Any payment made outside of this period does not fulfill the requirements set forth in the Terms and Conditions.
Well their reason for issue is not supported any more so I'd email DCB Legal and tell them you know what they were doing has been identified as unfair practice:

    All PCNs are being cancelled.

I'd be fascinated to see them defend the rationale that their own trade body has called out as unfair/rogue practice.

Update. My court request was transferred from central London to Bromley ( I assume because they are very busy). Received the formal court allocation letter a few days ago and surprise surprise an email from DCB stating their client will settle for £60 arrived today. 😂😂😂😂

Does anyone think I should accept this more than fair offer 😜? For the benefit of anyone not picking up on the sarcasm, I think I'll just wait for the next stage.

Please do the above because I'd like to show their reply to the MHCLG.

I did email them, a specific person I had emails from previously, on 7th Feb, but did not get a reply. Is there a generic email address they use. Always possible that person no longer works for DCB legal.
