PCN Success - Sainsburys/Euro Car Parks

Hi all,
Thought I'd just share my experience with a PCN received last week.
Received a PCN through the post from Euro Car Parks detailing my overstay at a Sainsburys car park near me. Was just about to fall for it when I decided to Google the legality of these shysters. Found myself in here and read the newbie thread; with a swagger I walked into said Sainsburys to the customer service desk. I explained I'd received this letter and that I'd been instructed to ask a store manager to cancel it for me. The chap behind the counter just nonchalantly said "Oh yes, no problem, I'll cancel that for you now". 30 seconds later I was out of there.
I wish you all the best in your PCN dramas!

Perfect! PLAN A strikes again!
Always complain to the retailers first. They can almost always cancel PCNs and even if not, it's very good for them to hear how annoyed customers are.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
