Yep. They can share this data then.

Dunno why but I hate the phrase 'next steps' almost as much as I detest pictorial flowcharts.  Sounds like we're teaching a child to walk! Anyhoo, don't mind my little foibles.

The NEWBIES thread already covers what to do.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

According to the last set of accounts, (30th September 2023), filed at Companies House, Greenwich Car Parking Services Ltd don't own any land. I suspect the land is actually owned by "The Greenwich Development Corporation Limited".

Does that mean that ParkingEye shouldn't be sharing my data with Greenwich Car Parking Services Ltd?

I thought it was Sainsbury's who shared your details with Greenwich Car Parking Services.

Sainsburys forwarded on my complaint to Greenwich Car Parking Services.   Greenwich Car Parking Services stated they accessed my details through ParkingEye.     ParkingEye website says they can share data with the Landowner, which I thought you were suggesting Greenwich Car Parking Services are not.

Looks like both Sainsbury's and Parking Eye have shared your details with Greenwich Car Parking Services, whom I suspect are just the managing agents, not the actual landowner.

But that's OK according to PEye's privacy page so I think ignore that angle.

And don't try POPLA for a retail park overstay.

  • I have received the below response after appealing the PCN on ParkingEyes website using the template provided in Plan B on the newbies forum.

I did not state I was NOT the driver, just that I am the registered keeper and would not be providing the details of the named driver.

I am assuming this is a standard response to the template.    Do I just ignore at this point?   Apologies if this is stated on the newbies thread, but I could not find it.

    Thanks

  • Please note I did also add a paragraph in the appeal that there was a disabled passenger in the vehicle at that time, but the driver was unaware the Blue Badge needed to be pre registered with the store (evidence of blue badge was attached to the appeal).
